Approximately 90 miles from Key West, Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean, and for Americans the doors to travel to its shores are finally (somewhat) open. With the doors to full-blown travel visible in the near distance, highlighting what the long-shut-out nation has to offer seems vital. Yes, the dictatorship that has been and currently is still in charge is despicable, but the loving and oppressed citizens of the nation is what should be kept in the forefront. These are people trapped in a seemingly never ending time capsule, and our tourism can bring much-needed change to their way of life.
