People often forget that North Africa, and specifically Morocco, is only eight-miles away from Spain’s southernmost tip, creating the Strait of Gibraltar. On a clear day travelers can stand on either continent and see the other. Another misconception, one that will also be debunked in the video below, is that Morocco (and the rest of Africa) is just one big desert. While it does house it’s fair share of deserts, some green mountains and gorgeous coastlines comprise this nation, as well. Home to almost 34-million people, Morocco’s culture and rich, ancient history can be felt walking through it’s streets, within their markets and interacting with the locals. A nation with so much to offer, give the video a play and see if anything catches the eye.
