Breaking through a treeline to a revealing, wondrus view while traversing mountainous terrain is one aspect that drives outdoors fanatics. Whether it’s on foot or a mountain bike, getting reaquainted with nature, during domestic and international travel, in this way should be of growing priority in today’s screen-driven world. Now, when thinking of ranges to hike through what comes to mind? For most, our minds are cultured to instantly think of the biggest, most advertised mountain ranges — Alps, Andes, Himalayas and Rocky’s, among others. While those ranges will never dissapoint, countless others are overlooked.

Located within the Snowdonia National Park is Dinas Mawddwy, Wales, a town that lies in the crevice of the surrounding mountains. This is the latest location of Red Bull’s Hardline, a series of heart-pumping, downhill courses filled with narrow, hairpin turns and dirt jumps that the top riders in the world attempt to tackle. It’s safe to say that this is the utmost extreme versions of the leisure hikes and rides we were suggesting for most travelers. Yet, the following video thrillingly highlights an under-the-radar United Kingdom destination. Yes, this video is real.
